The death occurred suddenly at her residence in Souris on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 of Frances Gallant, formerly of St. Charles, age 61 years. Daughter of the late Frank and Marguerite Gallant. Loving sister of Shirley Gallant of North Rustico, Vera Gallant, Marie Paquet, Gladys King (Wilfred), Rita Manning, Martha Flynn (Donald), Edna MacDonald of Charlottetown, Daniel Gallant and brother in law David MacDonald. Predeceased by sister Carol MacDonald, great nephew Dylan MacDonald, twin infant sisters Helen and Ellen, brothers in laws Everett Gallant, Henry Paquet, Joseph Manning and Eldon MacDonald. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. Funeral to be held on Saturday morning, June 25, 2016 at St. Charles Roman Catholic Church for funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
