1939 – 2016
Moncton, NB – Frank Maillet, 76, passed away at Dr. Georges–L.–Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton on Tuesday, June 21, 2016. Born in Coal Branch, NB, he was the son of the late Arthur and the late Joséphine Maillet (nee Goguen).

He served in the Canadian armed forces from 1957 to 1960, a member of the Golden Age Club Notre–Dame–de–Grace, Moncton. Frank was a pioneer of Acadian Music and enjoyed the outdoors. An avid fan of the Montreal Canadiens.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Aline Maillet (nee Doiron) of Moncton; by his two daughters, Marlene Maillet of Hudson, Mass, USA and Patricia Maillet of Scoudouc; by his two sons, Steven Maillet (Linda Girouard) of Moncton and David Maillet of Hudson, Mass, USA; by his three sisters, Marguerite Robichaud (late Rudolphe) of Moncton, Hélène Richard (Roméo) of Dieppe and Florine Pitre (Clarence) of St. Paul; by his brothers, Armand Maillet (Thérèse) of Bathurst; by his sister–in–law, Mélanie Maillet of Moncton; by his five grandchildren, Michael, Dustin, Renée, Jordan and Jason; by his four great grandchildren, Jackson, Marco and Mason; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by his four brothers, André, Edgar, Zöel and Louis and by his three sisters, Rita Babin, Maxine Hawryluk and Patricia Vinovich.

Visitation will be held at La Colombe Funeral Co–operative, 11325 Route 126, Rogersville on Monday, June 27, 2016, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 9:00am to 10:15am. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Immaculée Conception RC Church, 4049 Route 480, Acadieville on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 11:00am, burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology Department) would be appreciated by the family.
