It is with great sadness that the family of the late Genevieve MacPherson announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center on Thursday, June 23rd, 2016 at the age of 89 years. She will be sadly missed by her children Nancy, Margaret (John) Downey, Marie, Iris, Joey (Debbie), her grandchildren Melissa, Sheri and Healey. Also leaving to mourn her sisters Theresa (Tom) Hughes, Adell (Vince) Jesso, Rona (Steve) Jesso, brothers John (Geraldine) Jesso, Raymond (Ina) Jesso, Cecil (Nora) Jesso and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Alexander MacPherson, her parents Arthur and Louise Jesso, her sisters Nora Baker, Margaret Wall, Mary Bennett and her brother Stanley Jesso. Visitation will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 from Russell's Funeral Home in Stephenville. The funeral service will take place on Monday, June 27th, 2016 at 10 a.m. from St. Stephen's Parish on West Street with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway.
