It is with sad and heavy hearts that the family of Marie Angela Bennett announce her passing on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the age of 66, after a courageous battle of her illnesses. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary Penney, her husband Patrick, brothers Joey, Johnny and David, parents-in-law Patrick and Martha Bennett, brothers-in-law Vince, Tony, Stan, John and sister-in-law Brenda. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children Joe (Donna) and Charlene, her precious grandchildren James, Haley, Lucas, Carissa and Jadah. Her special friend and companion Ursula Tilley, her brothers Gabriel (Matilda) and Eugene (Bonita), sister-in-law Eileen and special aunt Kelly Luther, as well as her in-laws Tom (Rosemary), Kevin (Ann), Robert (Phil), Don, Ambrose (Myra), Mike (Louise), Irene, Agnes (Art), Isabel, Annmarie and Bernice, along with numerous nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. Cremation has taken place as per Marie's wishes. Family visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 28 from 6-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 29 from 2-9 p.m, all friends and family are welcomed at Fahey's Funeral Home, Trepassey. On Thursday, June 30, the funeral service will commence at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Church, Trepassey. In lieu of flowers, any donations will be greatly appreciated by the family.
