Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, Theresa Catherine Hookey, age 79 years. Predeceased by her husband Leo (March 26, 2016), son Darren Michael, daughter-in-law Elaine, brothers Pat, Andy and Robert and sister Joan. Leaving to mourn sons Chris (Charmaine), Cy (Sandy), Andy (Sheila) and Lee (Maria); daughter Karen (Andrew) Beaton; grandchildren Jennifer, Adam (Christine), Bradley (Kim), Laura (Shawn) and Corinne; great-grandchildren Athena and Logan; six sisters Mary, Alice, Bernadette, Margaret, Helen and Janice; three brothers Gerry, Bernard and Leo; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Friday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 10 a.m. from Caul's Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
