YUILL, Devon Alfred - Halifax

It is with profound sadness that the family announce his passing on June 27, 2016. Born in Halifax on November 18, 1966, he was the youngest son of the late Corinne Margaret (Adamson) and Dr. George Brenton Yuill. Devon is survived by his two beloved sons, George Walker Devon and Ian Tucker Irving of Halifax; sister Tamzen Black (Geoff); brother, Bradford (Carolyn Otto); nephews Liam and Bryant Yuill; nieces Celeste; Rhea and Merryl Black; his aunt Lavonne Thompson, Antigonish; and many cousins.

Devon was a graduate of Cobequid Educational Centre, in Truro and Acadia University, in Wolfville. Devon enjoyed a career in the financial and commercial real estate industries.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Colchester Community Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends to celebrate his life at the Holiday Inn, 437 Prince Street, Truro from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. A private interment will be held at another time.
