MacLEOD, JAMES "JIM"
James “Jim” MacLeod, 89, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, June 29, 2016. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late John Alexander and Olive (Clarke) MacLeod.

Jim was self–employed in the music industry and prior to that, he drove truck and was the first driver of large trucks with the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. Jim was a Veteran of WWII. He attended Lewisville Baptist Church, a Board Member at Elmwood Cemetery, Committee Member of the Moncton Highland Games, a member of Acacia Lodge #49, F. & A.M., and along with his late wife, Joyce, belonged to the Perfect Circle Motor Home Club and enjoyed many years at the family cottage on the Little Bouctouche River.

Jim will be sadly missed by his children, Stephen (Gloria) of Moncton, Kim of Ottawa, ON, Chris (Cindy) of Moncton, Jeff (Lisa) of Riverview; grandchildren, Jason (Tanya), Jennifer (Matt), Mira and James; great–grandchildren, Shaye, Kaleb and Lily.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, “Joyce” Marie MacLeod (2005); brothers, Alan, Albert and Blake; sisters, Myrtle Matthews, Ethel McNulty and Hazel Wallace.

Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858–1995) on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate Jim’s life will beheld at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 11:00 am with Rev. Gordon MacLeod and Rev. Gordon Horsman officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery.
