It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, daughter, sister, stepmother, niece and friend, Tracey L. Baxendale Sibley, age 49, on Friday July 1, 2016, at home.
Tracey was born Feb. 6, 1967 in Toronto, Ont., she was the daughter of Marie (Salaptsis) Baxendale and of the late Paul Baxendale. She was employed for a number of years as a crossing guard with Cape Breton Regional Municipality.
Tracey is survived by her husband, Pierre Sibley; her mother, Marie Baxendale; sister, Cheryl (Sheldon) LeFrense; stepsons, Johnathan and Logan; nephew, Cohen; aunts, Brenda (Gordie) Reynolds and Chrissy (Brian) Fox. She will also be missed by her lifelong friends, Lisa and Kim; by her fur babies, Fluffy, Kitty, Mitsy 1, Precious and Mitsy 2.
Besides her father, Paul Baxendale; Tracey was predeceased by a sister, Brenda.
Visitation will be held 1-3 p.m. Tuesday in the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney, a prayer service of remembrance will follow at 3 p.m., with Marjorie Serafinus officiating.
