MOORE, UNITY BRIDGET CATHERINE
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Unity Bridget Catherine Moore which occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, July 4th, 2016.

Born 1951, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Jean (McCluskey) Vaughan. Unity was an amazing mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker and Taxi Dispatcher. She also owned her own second hand shop. She enjoyed bowling and playing darts and was also involved with youth darts. Unity was a Legion volunteer at Ridgewood.

Unity is survived by her son David Tidd (Ruth Bridges) of Saint John; Wayne Tidd of Surrey, BC; brothers Melville Vaughan (Judy) of Saint John, Douglas Vaughan (Ed) of Dartmouth, Tom Vaughan (Gail) of Saint John, Allan Vaughan (Margaret) of Saint John; sister Jean McTague (John) of Saint John; grandchildren Patrick and Jeffrey Bridges; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

Besides her parents, Unity was predeceased by her sister Margaret Hadland, niece Ronalda Comeau and nephew Eddie Vaughan.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646–2424) with visitation being held on Friday, July 8th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. with a Legion Tribute Service beginning at 7 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, July 9th at 9 a.m. followed by an interment at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
