With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Stanley Walter Richards on July 4, 2016.
Born in Glace Bay, N.S., Sept. 18, 1928; the son of Jack and Alice Richards. He became a painter, cabinet maker and interior designer and owned his own business for 50 years. Stan was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved music and enjoyed playing his guitar in a band or just on his own.
Stan will be sorrowfully missed by his partner, Willena MacDonald; children, Bernice (Hugh) Kennedy, Donkin, grandson, Rob, (Esperanza), great-granddaughter, Niskha, Ottawa, Ont.
Cremation has taken place and as per his wishes there will not be any services or visitation.
The family would like to thank Dr. Sebastian, the staff at the C.B. Regional Hospital and the VON for their support during Stan's stay in hospital.
