It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARY STAPLETON of Little St. Lawrence, formerly of Corbin, announces her passing at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s on Saturday, July 2nd, at the age of 86. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons, Edward Joseph Stapleton of Little St. Lawrence, Terry (Anna) Stapleton of Houston, BC and Raymond Stapleton of Little St. Lawrence; sisters, Bride Rose, Kathleen Neville, Violet Clarke and Theresa Fagan; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband, Edward; son, Bernard; daughter, Anne Marie; parents, Bernard & Elizabeth Grant; sisters, Bride Rose, Nellie Wadman, Laura Bennett, Anne Grant & Meline Grant; brothers, Jim & Robert Grant:
The Mass of Christian Burial took place at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in St. Lawrence, on Wednesday, July 6th, at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed at Mount Cecilia Roman Catholic Cemetery. In Mary’s memory donations may be made to the Stapleton Family.
