Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Thursday, July 7, 2016. Vincent Power, aged 84 years was predeceased by his parents Vincent and Caroline Power; his sister Annie Mae and brothers Mike, Lee, Ray and Al. Vincent leaves behind with fond and loving memories, his wife of 55 years, Madeline (nee Hayden); his children, Michelle Murphy, James (Carmel) and Vincent (Michelle). Vincent also leaves his only precious granddaughter, Jennifer; his grandsons, Bradley, Jason, Brad, Jordan and Cody; his special niece, Paula (Frank) who was like a daughter, and their children, David, Desiree and Thomas; his one surviving brother, Bill (Mercedes); sisters-in-law, Mary and Jean Power; a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including Loll and Patsy. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Saturday from 6-9pm and Sunday from 12-4pm and 6-9pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 9:30am from Mary Queen of the World Church. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Vincent's memory may be made to the Lung Association of Newfoundland and Labrador.
