Passed peacefully away surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the Health Sciences Complex. Predeceased by his loving father Calvin. Left behind an army of people who thought the world of him. His immediate family, doting mother Natalie (nee Wicks), brothers Chris (Connie), Craig (Heather), and Kent (Kathi) and nieces and nephews Rebecca, David, Thomas, Nathan, Kierstyn, Michelle, Tiffany, Whitney and Tristan. Karl was very fond of his beloved aunts and uncles Earl (Madeline and Bill), Armoral (Lou and Russ), Marge, Doris (Brian), Austin (Marg), Linda (Eg), Judy (Paul), and Joy (Jim). In addition to a loving extended family, Karl had many many special friends whose lives he touched deeply. He was cared for his whole life lovingly and fiercefully by his Mom and Dad. No one could have been better parents, caregivers and friends to Karl. He loved life. He loved his family and his friends. He loved music. He loved food. He loved his rituals. And he dearly loved his parents, who were his best friends! Karl was the glue in the family, the constant, the heartbeat. He will be missed more than words can say. He's in his Dad's care now. The family will be having a private remembrance and interment ceremony on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 2 pm at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
