It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ethel Mullins announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the age of 97 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Betty Wheeler, Gerry (Debbie) and Bill Jr. of Conception Bay South; her grandchildren: Darren and Rodney Wheeler, St. John's and Jennifer Brake, Corner Brook; great grandchildren: Brady Wheeler and Brandon Brake; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ethel was predeceased by her husband William; son in law: Dave Wheeler; sisters: Selina, Evelyn and Jessie; brothers: Joe and Andrew; parents Henry and Honor Durdle, all of Bonavista. Special thanks to Dr. Coleman and all the staff of the 2nd Floor North at the Long Term Care Home. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from Country Haven Funeral Chapel with Father Andrew White officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
