Phenomenal mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, beloved sister, loving aunt, and cherished friend, joined her husband George Edward ‘Sonny’ in God’s loving embrace early Sunday morning July 10th, 2016.
Celebrating Lynora’s legacy of tremendous strength and devotion are her children, Joseph (Elaine), Gerald, of Halifax, Georgina (David), Rita, of Glace Bay and Charlotte (Calvin) of Calgary; grandchildren, Preston, Christopher, Damon, Justin, Rebecca, and Nadera; great-grandchildren, Dominic, Albany, Tyler, Mise'l, Viennah and Adrianna.
Remembering their one and only loving sister are amazing brothers, Garfield (Louise) Moe, Sydney, Jerome (Pat) Moe of Toronto, Grenfell ‘Babes’ (Georgina) Moe of Sydney and Gerald (Paula) Moe of Toronto. Along with treasured brother-in-law, Edward (Laura) Parris and sister-in-law, Sarah Hayward of Sydney.
Lynora was predeceased by her parents, Preston and Dorothy Moe and great-grandson, Lodune Shelley.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Currys Funeral Home, 775 Main St., Glace Bay. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 16, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Glace Bay. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
