Peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Thursday, July 14, 2016, of George Alden Small of Ottawa, aged 95 years. Born in Summerside on Feb. 21, 1921, son of the late John and Mary (Cotton) Small. Beloved husband of the late Marguerite (Sinclair) Small. Loving father of Joyce (Lorne) Sayell, Janet (Barclay) Frost, Garth (Linda) and Grant (Sandra) Small. Cherished grandfather to nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Olga Callbeck, Belle Ramsay and Bruce Small. Predeceased by siblings Ennis Small, Dorothy Dickson, Ruth Burwell, Velda Phillips, Verna Babb and Margaret Hebb. Brother-in-law of Jean Small, Cecil Hebb, Alder Large and Lorriane Sinclair. Dear Uncle to several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Thursday at St. John’s Anglican Church, St. Eleanors, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. If so desired, contributions may be made to St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery Fund or Hiram and Lebanon Lodge No. 3, of which he was a 65-year member. Brethren of Hiram and Lebanon Lodge No. 3, Summerside, will hold a Masonic Memorial Service at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 9 a.m.
