Because in her life she was saintly, because in her heart she was pure.
Her reward we are sure must be heaven and our grief we must try to endure. It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts to announce the passing of a wonderful and spiritual person, Ann Hughes. Ann was born June 15, 1943 to the late Fred "Dutchie" and Theresa (nee Pineau) Hughes. Loving sister of Alice "Mickey" Roberts, Maurice Hughes and Evelyn Battah. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers James, John and George Hughes and her sister Mary Roberts. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Thursday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
