James “Jim” Thorpe Jackson
August 17, 1946 – July 13, 2016
Jim passed away at the Herb Bassett Nursing Home on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the age of 69. He was born on August 17, 1946 to Edward and Laura (Thorpe) Jackson. He was predeceased by his mother Laura; his father Edward; infant sister; and great niece Laura Harvey. Jim is survived by his brother Edward (Peggy) Jackson, niece Jerylynn Jackson and nephew Edward Jackson; his sister Nancy (Stan) Lamont, niece Jennifer (Jerry) Sande, nephew Robert (Jennifer) Lamont, great nieces Melanie and Avery Lamont; as well as his extended family. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday July 21, 2016 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Dennis Serfas officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Paradise Path c/o Herb Bassett Nursing Home, 1200 – 24th Street West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 4N9.
