Toronto/New Glasgow - Melvin “Dink” Paris, passed away on July 5, 2016 in Toronto.
Born July 18, 1946 in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late William “Bill” and Regina (Borden) Paris.
He is survived by a daughter, Marie (Ross); sons: Duane, Les, Dale, Devin (Amanda) and Damien (Nicole), Toronto, ON; brother, Albert; and sisters: Mary and Patricia; 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, Tashia; many nieces and cousins.
He was predeceased by parents William and Regina Paris, sister, Marva Paris and brother, William “Billy” Paris Jr.
He worked for the CNR as a porter before moving to Toronto, where he worked until his retirement.
A graveside service will take place at 1 pm Thursday, in the Brookside Cemetery, with Deacon Brian Bowden officiating. www.rhporter.ca
