Carmelita Maria Luhning, aged 68 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Friday, July 15th, 2016. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 25th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave NW, Moose Jaw, SK. Father Rick Krofchek will officiate and a private family interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. She was predeceased by her parents, Pedro and Ruth Metereo; sister, Leona; and brother-in-law, Roy Berger. Maria will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 38 years, Allan; daughter, Erinn (grandchildren Kruz, Jude and Roman); daughter, Kara (grandson Brennan); brother, Carmine (Heather) Metereo; sister, Juanita Black; sister, Delores Metereo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Maria worked at Diversified Services for many years, assisting and caring for the many clients. Her major passion in life was equestrian activities and was a pioneer member of the handicap riding program. Maria will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends, and she will always be in our hearts and memories.
