Our hearts will forever be full of appreciation and gratitude to all who gave so generously of their kindness and sympathy. You all helped to make the journey lighter with the passing of our Connie. We were tremendously overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support given to us by the many family members, friends, colleagues, neighbors and neighborhood children. While it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please be assured no one is forgotten. On behalf of Connie, we thank you all. We want to express a heartfelt thank you to Reverend Wendt and Norma Mills for the touching service, it was truly magical. Special thanks to Fr. Bill Burke for his never ending supply of soup, fishcakes and beans as well as the kind words he shared in our goodbye to Connie. This journey was full of many faith filled experiences felt by all through the prayers of Florence and Mack MacNeil. They not only blessed Connie with peace and acceptance but also provided guidance in saying our good-byes. They brought to us a calming presence. There are no words to express our gratitude to An Cala Unit of Palliative Care, as this was a place to freely call home and enjoy spending quality time with our Connie. To LJ MacLean & Aaron Lewis as well as Pat Moore, your music touched our hearts and your song, allowed Connie one last dance. Thank you to the staff of Chants Funeral Home for the respect and dignity that was shown to all.
