Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, on July 21, 2016 in the presence of her loving husband, Alden, aged 84 years. She is predeceased by her parents Christopher and Edith Squire and brothers Gilbert Brown, Samson Squire, and Nelson Turner. She leaves to mourn husband Alden, daughters Pamela (Bill) Maxwell and Beverley Brown; step-daughters Cathy (Tom) Defoe, Patricia (Bob) Pinkerton; step-son Daniel (Karen) Mitchell; step-grandchildren Dale and Katie Smith, Alisa Defoe, Adam Defoe, and Sarah (Mark) Tanner; sisters Amy Penney and Amy (Calvin) Ralph; sister-in-law Violet Squire; many nieces and nephews, along with a large number of other relatives and friends. Bea was a nurse all her working life and took great pride in her work. She was involved with many charities wherever she lived. She was a talented lady and many will remember her hand-sewn crafts and quilts. She rests at Oram's Funeral Home, Eastport. Public visitation will be on Friday, July 22 from 7-9, Saturday 2-4 and 7-9. There will be a service of Christian burial at Holy Cross Church, Eastport, on Sunday, July 24, at 2. In her honor, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
