Annemarie, Lisa and Rosanna LeBlanc, the loving daughters of John, announce the memorial service for their beloved father John, who passed away in Montreal, QC, on Sept., 7, 2006. John was the dedicated and adoring husband of the late Christina "Betty" Elizabeth Fraser.
John was a wonderful dad with a sharp mind who was always there for his family. John was the proud grandfather, of Robyn Good, Christopher and Curtis Giroux, Ashley and Stacey Ettinger and great-grandfather, of Ava, Ella and Rose Babis, Jayden Ettinger and Teresa Willis.
John was the son, of Gladys May Townes and George Joseph LeBlanc. Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia in 1936, he began his career at the Cape Breton Post, John was always proud to be a Cape Bretoner.
Funeral and memorial services will be held at 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, 2016, at Saint Josephs' Cemetery New Victoria, Cape Breton, N.S.
A luncheon will follow at St. Leonard's Hall on Convent Street in New Waterford.
