The death occurred, with family by his side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Friday, July 29, 2016, of Daniel MacFarlane, beloved husband of Debbie (nee Gallant), of North Rustico, aged 68. Daniel was the loving father of Carla Parsons (Kent) and Denise Grant (Larry); and grandfather of Jessica, Janelle and Jackie Parsons; and Taylor and Curtis Grant. He is also survived by his brothers, Roy (Wendy), Richard (Vanelda) and Ron (Linda); sister, Linda MacFarlane (Rick Sibling); and several nieces, nephews and friends. Daniel was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Dorothy (Francis) MacFarlane; and his stepfather, Alvin Gallant. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held at Central Queen’s Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery, North Rustico.
