BOUDREAU, Harold Paul – 55, of Wood’s Harbour, Shelburne County, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth on August 1, 1960, he was the son of the late Anslie Jacquard and Gladys (Shafner) Boudreau. Harold was a nature and animal lover through and through. He enjoyed taking many drives just for the scenery and to look for deer. He loved his faithful dog, Penney, and took her Tim Horton’s for treats. He loved both local and NHL hockey and was an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Harold loved his family and friends. He loved visiting them, especially at Christmas. He is survived by his common law wife, Irene Nickerson; daughter, Christina (Timmy Burke) Nickerson; brothers, Alan Boudreau, Brian Saulnier; sister, Julie Boudreau; grandchildren, Skye Burke and Brady Burke; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers, Nelson “Junior” Boudreau, Andy Boudreau; sisters, Bertha Boudreau and Elizabeth “Betty” Coffin. There will be a visitation held 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the H M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, with Rev. Richard Fowler officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
