Milton James "Mit"  Redmond

REDMOND, Milton James “Mit” – 64, Onslow Mountain, passed away suddenly, as a result of a pulmonary embolism, on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at home. Born in Pictou, he was as son of the late Hiram and Violet (Langille) Redmond. Mit was a talented and creative hardworking man who loved his family, the outdoors, his camp and old vehicles. He loved spending time with his son and two beloved grandsons; his three favourite guys. Mit also loved watching John Wayne westerns with “T” and listening to Elvis. He worked as a plant supervisor at Eascan Building Systems. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him for the wonderful person he was. Mit leaves behind his wife, Teresa “T”; son, Michael; beloved grandsons, Mitchell and Nicholas; brothers, Harley (Janice), Dale (Mariya); sisters, Debbie (Michael) Pryor, Chrissie (Gary) Huntley; nephews, Donald, Craig, Anthony, Morgan; nieces, Kimberlee, Donna, Tawnya, Atalaya, Terra, Jessica, Randi; first wife, Yvonne; sisters-in-law, Brenda and Betty. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his big brother, Randy; nephew, Wayne; best friend, “Old Brown”. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where the funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m., Friday, August 5, 2016, Reverend Larry Harrison officiating.
