The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Souris Hospital on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016, of John H. MacInnis of Cable Head East, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Arlene (nee MacKinnon). Loving father to Debby (Charlie), Shelia, Susan (Allen), Ricky, Gerard (Joanne), Nancy (Shawn) and Ryan (Katie). Fondly remembered by fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Resting at the Dr. Roddie Community Centre, St. Peter's Bay, for visiting hours on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until time of funeral. Funeral to be held on Saturday afternoon, Aug. 6, 2016 at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church for funeral mass to be celebrated at 2 p.m. Interment in the Church Cemetery.
