Passed peacefully away on Thursday, August 4, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Debbie Howell, aged 59 years was predeceased by her parents, James and Shirley Barrington; brothers, Shawn and Edward; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Mary Howell and sister-in-law, Betty. Left to cherish her life are her loving husband of 35 years, Bill Howell Jr. and her beautiful daughters, Kelly "Nurse Kelly" (Keith) and Michelle "Dr. Google" (Mike). Debbie also leaves her pride and joy; grandsons, Michael and Logan and step-grandchildren Liam and Kyla; her sisters, Judy and Sharon (Gord); brothers, Gene (Joan), Pat (Paula), Brian (Kim), Jim (Amanda) and Mike (Cathy); sisters-in-law, Doris Barrington, Stella (Brian), Judy and Barb; brothers-in-law. Bobby (Jackie), Dennis, Eddie, David (Linda) and Gerald as well as special aunts, Fran and Beth; many nieces, nephews, numerous friends, her Bingo Buddies and friends from Mary Lou's Convenience (Pop's Convenience). Many thanks to Nurse Kelly Ralph, Dr. Duggan, Dr. Darcy and all the staff at the Shea Heights Medical Centre; to Dr. Seal and her team at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre and to the L.A. Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit. Thanks to everyone who offered prayers and lit candles during Debbie's illness, especially to Jennifer Evoy. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. As per Debbie's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation on Sunday from 11am-9pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 2pm from St. John Bosco Church. Donations in Debbie's memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or to a local School Lunch Program.
