Passed peacefully away at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 73 years. Predeceased by his father Peter (1989), mother Annie (2000), brothers Francis, William, John, Jimmy, Danny, Ronnie and sisters Mary and Elizabeth. Leaving to mourn, his children: Greg (Judy), Eddie (Dawn), Janet Staff (Craig), Joy Murray (Rob), Kerry (Julie), and step children Cheryl Martin (Tony), David Noftle (Michelle) Todd Noftle (Lenora), Dawn King (Rick). Grandchildren: Chris King (Kathryn), Matt King (Julie), Gina (Andrew), Gillian (Jeremy), Adam (Robin) and Cameron Staff, Heidi, Zachary and Nicholas Murray, and Claudia and Callie Sears; 3 sisters, 5 brothers and their families; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends including Companion Anne Wade. Visitation will be held from Cauls Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd, on Sunday Aug 7, 2016 from 2 - 9pm. A private family service with interment will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Ed's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
