The passing of Elva Florence Ross (Nee: Carver), of Montague, at the age of 81, occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown on Saturday, August 6, 2016, surrounded by her family. Born in Charlottetown on September 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Benson & Florence (Nee: Carr), Beloved wife of the John Ross of 62 years, loving mother Lillian (Jack) MacKenzie, Doreen (Dougie) Compton, James (Stacey), Ruby Ross (Sam), Betty (John) Robinson, Gloria (Tommy) Stacey, Billy (Jessie), Rollie (Lynn), 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Beside her parents Elva was predeceased by sister Eileen, son Darren, daughter Anne and son-in-law Roger. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 11 at 10 a.m. Interment in the Caledonia Cemetery.
