It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donna Yvonne Penney announce her passing on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 68 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Shawn Penney (Barb), Estevan, SK; daughter Sarah Penney-Belbin (Chad), CBS, grandchildren: Brooklyn and Nicholas Penney, Estevan, SK; mother Doreen Janes, Corner Brook, sister Sherry (Paul) Hynes, Corner Brook; nephew and niece: Matthew and Mackenzie Hynes; special friend Madonna Elford, Corner Brook; as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her father Raleigh Janes and sister Lois Fisher. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Sunday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 15 at 10:30 a.m. from First United Church, Park Street with Rev. Harry Whitehorne officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donation may be made to the Huntington Society of Canada or a charity of one's choice.
