The death occurred peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Thursday, August 11, 2016 of Alex MacKinnon, of Forest Hill, age 81 years. Survived by sister Eleanor (Kevin) Larkin and niece Dolores. Predeceased by parents Jerome and Angela MacKinnon, brother Earl and sister Edna. Resting at the Dr.Roddie Community Center in St. Peter's Bay for visitation on Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 6 - 8 p.m. and Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral to be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 to St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church for funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
