It is with sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Roger Nicholson at his residence on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Born on February 5, 1951 he was the son of John and Mae (Nee: Peardon). Left with fond and loving memories are daughter Cindy (Michael) McKenna, son Keith, siblings Clinton “Nick” (Jackie), Wade (Emily), Randy (Sue), Lola (Steven) MacLeod, sisters in law Irene and Dolly along with a large circle of extended family and those who had the privilege of calling him friend. Roger was the beloved grandfather of Andrew, Kevin, Bethany, John. Beside his parents Roger was predeceased by brothers Kimball, Carl and nephew Jason. Keeping with Rogers wishes a private family visitation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place at a later time. Those wishing to make memorial donations in his memory may donate to the Humane Society, IWK Children’s Hospital or a charity of donors choice.
