Peacefully at home on Saturday, August 13, 2016 of Jean Margaret Roach of Charlottetown age 87 years. Born in Charlottetown she was the daughter of the late Sanford and Loretta (MacAulay) Roach. She is survived by her sister, Muriel Martin, brother Sanford (Louise) Roach, sister-in-law Catherine Roach, and by her partner Kevin Grady. Jean is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother Leo Roach, brother-in-law Melvin Martin and niece Melanie MacDonald. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Wednesday, then transferred to The Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to St. Dunstan’s Basilica Restoration Fund.
