Jean Heppler (nee Murphy) of Stratford, age 83 years passed peacefully Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Walter Heppler, loving mother of Patricia Godbout (Ivan) of Dartmouth and loving grandmother of Nicole and Andrew Godbout. Jean is also survived by her brothers - Kenneth (Anna), Maurice (Anna - deceased) and Tommy (Lorna), sisters - Helen Phalen (Eddie - deceased), Lynda Murphy and Valerie Ward (Bobby - deceased) and numerous close nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Edna (nee Fraser) Murphy and sisters Mary Elizabeth Campbell and Joan MacDonald. There will be no visitation by personal request. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at St. Joachim’s Church, Vernon River at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at the church cemetery with reception to follow interment at the parish hall.
