It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved wife and mother, Eileen Farr, age 57, on Sunday, August 14th, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents Leo and Margaret Mahoney; parents-in-law Harold and Alice Farr; brothers-in-law Bob Hynes and John Farr (and wife Josephine). Left to mourn are her loving and dedicated husband Harry, and cherished and precious daughters Courtney and Lauren (Iain). Also left to mourn with sadness are nine sisters and brothers: Geraldine Mahoney, Laura Parsley (Kevin), Leo Mahoney (Patricia), John Mahoney (Barbara), Mary Joy (Fred), Donald Mahoney (Carol), Linda Hynes, Bernadette Woodford (Fabian), and Paul Mahoney (Kris). Eileen was also very close to her nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, all of Harry's family, other relatives, an extended circle of friends, best friend Sharon Norman and close family friend Ron Drake. Special thank you for the excellent care provided by the nurses at St. Clare's Hospital. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday, August 16th from 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday, August 17th from 12-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, August 18, 2016 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Huntington Society of Canada.
