We, the family of the late Gerard MacDonald would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to our family and friends for the love and support shown to us at the time of Gerard’s passing. Special thanks to both the MacDonald and Crowe families for the food and time spent with us during the more than two weeks Gerard was hospitalized. We thank those who sent food, cards, flowers donations and online condolences. Thank you also to those who visited, especially those who came great distances to share our grief. Thank you to Fr. Huntley, Deacon Penny and the Eucharistic Minsters. Much gratitude to the St. Leonard Choir under the direction of Mrs. Grace White, the music was wonderful. Thank you to the RCMP and RCMP Veterans for the Honour Guard at the funeral home and at the church. Thank you also for the support offered to us during and after this difficult time. We appreciate the doctors, nurses and the volunteers at the Palliative Care Unit who did their best to make both Gerard and the family as comfortable as possible. Thank you to McGillivray’s Funeral Home for their guidance and support, their assistance was invaluable at the very sad time in our lives. Much Gratitude, Debbie, Kelly, Ryan Macdonald and Families.
