The death occurred at Foothills Hospital, Calgary, AB, on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, of Kay Mysie Johnson of Calgary, AB, formerly Bloomfield, aged 78 years, loving partner of Tom Giolas. Kay was born on February 6, 1938, daughter of the late Roy and Muriel (MacKay) Smith. Loving mother to Wayne (Susan) Johnson and Pam (Norm) Joy. Dear grandmother to Christopher, Scott, Michael, Matthew, Morgan and Nicole. Great-grandmother to Allana, Madison, Avery, Emelia and Cameron. Dear sister to Glenn (Jack) Arbing, Sandra (Eric) Adams, Vance (Theresa) Smith and Barry (Judy) Smith. Kay was predeceased by her parents, brother Clair, sisters Betty and Inez. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary. Funeral service on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Campbellton United Church at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. In memory of Kay, memorials to Campbellton United Church Cemetery would be appreciated.
