The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, of Georgie Eileen (Lockhart) Pope, formerly of Crozier Drive, Summerside, aged 78 years. Born in Malpeque on November 14, 1937, daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Donald) Lockhart. Wife of the late Peter MacArthur Pope. Predeceased by her brother Gerald (Alice) Lockhart. Survived by children Nancy Pope, Edmonton, AB; David Pope, Salt Lake City, Utah; and James (Karen) Pope, Bedford, NS; grandchildren Davis, Angela, Katie, Adele, Adam, Gabby and Sage; and her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, nieces, nephews and their families. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Saturday from 1-2:30 p.m., then forwarded to the Princetown United Church, Malpeque, for funeral service at 3 p.m., with interment in People’s Cemetery, Malpeque, immediately followed by reception at the Malpeque Community Centre, Civic# 2197, Malpeque Road.
