It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear loved one on August 16, 2016 at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay, Annie Marcella (Marcie) Howell age 92 years of Pound Cove. Predeceased by her husband; Clifton Howell, parents, Levi and Ethel Davis, brothers; Augustus Davis (sister-in-law; Lillian), Freeman Davis, grandsons; Christopher Cook, Terry Howell, granddaughter; Tanya Howell, son-in-law; Carl Blackmore, sisters-in-law ; Masie (Bill Fry), Letsie (Jack Sturge), brothers-in-law; Alfred Howell (Myrtle), Reginald Reid, Edward Blackwood, Bill Stagg. Leaving to mourn with beautiful memories are sons; Leonard (Kate) of Newtown, Terry (Roma) of Templeman, Derrick (Anne) of Templeman, Tony (Brenda) of Pound Cove, daughters; Shirley Cook (Ray) of Killbride, Valeda Welsh (Jim) of Glovertown, Nellie Blackmore (Ed Tremblett) of Labrador City, Cindy Bungay (Clyde) of Newtown, brother; Jim Davis (Winnie) of Wesleyville, sister; Lillian Reid of Gander, sisters-in-law; Minnie Blackwood, Greta Stagg, 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and a very large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service was held on August 18, 2016 at Trinity United Church, Newtown with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating. Interment followed at St. Thomas United Church Cemetery, Pound Cove.
