The death occurred suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown on Wednesday August 17, 2016 of Donald Carl Champion of Vernon MacGougan Crescent, Malpeque aged 78 years. Born in Kensington on March 9, 1938 son of the late Lester and Mayme (MacKay) Champion. Husband of June (Price) Champion. Predeceased by his son Richard. Father of Kimberley Aziz, Kanata, ON; Kevin (Carmelita MacKenzie), Stratford; Stephen (Stacy), Margate. Grandfather of Brodie, Surraya, Matthew, Taralynn, Megan, Chloe and Carter. Brother of Wayne (Gloria) Champion, Nanaimo, BC; Eleanor (Jack) Dean, Calgary, AB; and also survived by several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for a private family service in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel on Friday. No visitation by family request.
