We, the family of the late Florence McInnis, would like to express our appreciation during our time of sorrow. Thank you to the staff of 4C at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for the care and compassion shown to our mother during her stay. To Captain Corey Vincent of the Salvation Army, thank you for delivering such a beautiful service. Our mother would have loved it. Thank you to the staff of Sydney Memorial Chapel with special thanks to Kollin Weatherbee for going above and beyond during our time of need. Thank you to everyone who phoned, stopped by, brought food, sent flowers or helped in any way. We appreciate every gesture and will be forever grateful.
Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair.
Perhaps you sent a funeral spray, if so we saw it there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words
As any friend could say,
Perhaps you were not there at all,
Just thought of us that day.
Whatever you did to console our hearts,
We thank you so much, whatever the part.
