91, originally from Rock Harbour, Placentia Bay, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home with her loving family on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Left with a life time of love and cherished memories are her children Cecilia Janes (Kev), Wayne Upshall (Jill Richards), Jeannie Haynes (Paul), Barbara Stapleton (Brian Simmons), Bonny Celli (Del), Gary Upshall, Roger Upshall (Natalie Loisel), Cathy Upshall (James Goth), 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and her caring sister Janie. Predeceased by her loving son Ron Upshall (Iris), and her siblings Linda, Richard and Nathanial. Virtue was a devoted mother who was a bright light to all that knew her. You will live forever in our hearts. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday from 2-4 pm and 6:30-8:30 pm and then on Sunday from 2-5:30 pm.
