Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family, on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Eric A. Larkin, age 87 years. Predeceased by his daughter Brenda in 2001. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 59 years, Elsie (nee Barbour); daughter, Janet Browne (Charles); his cherished grandchildren: Michael (Heather), Danielle (Adam) and Nicholas; great-grandchildren: Landon and Luke Parsons; sisters-in-law: Breta Barbour, Phyllis Wareham and Nancy Yetman (Barry); his special niece Trudy Quinlan; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place at Eric's request. The family will be receiving visitors at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016 and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2016. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Wesley United Church. Inurnment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
