Passed peacefully away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Health Sciences Centre. Tom Power of Flatrock, aged 77 years was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Margaret Power; sister Alice and his father and mother-in-law Gilbert and Nellie Rose. Tom leaves behind with fond and loving memories, his wife of 43 years, Gladys Power (nee Rose); son Gilbert (Michelle); two cherished grandchildren Matthew and Amberley; his brother Kevin (Trudy) and sisters Kay, Irene and Mary; also his brothers-in-law Wayne (Marilyn), Merv (Jenny) and Reg (Jessie); sisters-in-law Hazel (Francis), Marie (Kevin) and Pearl (Jack); special friends Robert, Michael, Lee, Young Jim and Mary Parsons; along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Cyril Riche, Dr. Rose, Dr. Farrell as well as the nurses and staff at the Health Sciences Centre. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation on Sunday and Monday from 11 am - 9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 10 am on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from St. Michael's Church in Flatrock with cremation to follow.
