Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the age of 95 years. Predeceased by her dear husband: Eric; parents: Augustus and Isabelle Parsons; brothers: Fred (Marcia), Vern (Jean) and Howard; brothers-in-law: Harvey Bowering, Ralph Pitcher (Mary) and Ted Pitcher; sisters-in-law: Bertha Parsons, Ella Pitcher, Mildred Johnson (Leonard), Florence Pitcher and Doris Rendell (Carl). Leaving to mourn with very precious memories are her daughters: Susan (Bill Benson) and Carolyn (Brian McShane); grandchildren: Will (Kayla), Joshua, Erica and Marc; great-granddaughter: Khloe; brother: Munden Parsons; sisters: Ethel Bowering, Cavell Barkey; sister-in-law: Maxine Pitcher, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. The family would also like to thank the staff of Karwood Retirement Retreat and her special dining companions for their kindness, it was greatly appreciated. Resting at Barrett`s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 2:00 pm. - 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. - 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in Barrett`s Chapel on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
