Passed peacefully away at his late residence, Duncan Road, Bay Roberts on Saturday, August 20, 2016, Mr. Duncan Lear Snow, aged 81 years. Predeceased by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Hayward and Ele,nor ("Nell") Snow (nee-Hussey); cherished daughter Christine Bussey-Snow, sister Judith Saunders and brother Douglas Snow. Leaving to mourn with many fond memories are his loving and devoted daughters Marlene (Frazer) Petten and Melanie (Bruce) Drummond; son-in-law Lou Bussey; grandchildren Desiree (Brandon) Mercer and Brandon Petten; brother-in-law Robert Saunders. Duncan Snow was a businessman in the plumbing and electrical industry for many years and was very well known to many people throughout the industry and the community and towns in which he served. Thus, leaving a very large circle of extended family and friends who will greatly miss his social presence at many community events and social gatherings. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts where his family will be receiving guests on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM; Tuesday 10 AM - 12 Noon, 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral service and celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 11 AM from Central United Church, Bay Roberts with internment to follow at Central United Church Cemetery, Bay Roberts.
