We regret to announce the passing of Ann Vigneault, 83, on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Ann passed away peacefully in her sleep at Maple Hill Manor, New Waterford. Born in Florence on October 29, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Donalda Vigneault. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Ann was born in Florence. She moved to Alder Point, and then to Sydney to care for her mother.
She leaves behind to mourn her loving companion, Elmer LeBlanc; her nephew, Billy and many nieces. Besides her parents, Ann was predeceased by her sister, Mary and brothers, Tommy, Frances, Alex, Jack, Oscar and Gordon. Elmer would like to thank the nurses at Inverary Manor in Inverness for their care. Also, a big thank you to Maple Hill Manor for being so caring and doing all they could for her. Thank you also to her next door neighbours for always being there when she needed them. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
As per Ann’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bras d’Or. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com.
