Tattrie, William Robert “Billy” – age 59, Hilden passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 31, 2016 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Billy was born August 3, 1957 in Tatamagouche, the son of the late Harold and Beulah Tattrie. He was a devoted husband, father and grampie. He is survived by his wife, Janet; children, Julie Johnson (Andy), Millbrook, Bob Tattrie (Corrina), Earltown, Marley Phillips (Rocky), Hilden; grandchildren, Kayla, Dylan, Emma, Megan, Gage and Brea; brothers, Ralph (Cecilia), Wayne (Gloria), Roger (Rose), Tatamagouche, Dick (Carrie), Truro. Frankie (Carol), Kemptown; sisters, Peggy Miller, Marie Blenkhorn, Tatamagouche, Rose Johnson (Peter), Mary Ann Tattrie, Truro, Joan Hollings (Geoff), Ontario, Brenda Gilbert, Winnipeg; along with several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Florence Miller; five nephews and four nieces. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 4 from 2-4 pm. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Family flowers only.
