Isabel Hollahan (nee Wilton)

It is with heavy hearts we regret to announce the passing of our mother Isabel Hollahan, on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 89 years. She leaves to mourn three daughters Kay Boersma (Bob), Jean Hewlin (Verbon) and Judy Hollahan (Dave Jennings). She will be missed by her grandchildren whom she was so proud of, Christopher (Colleen), Heather (Adam), Beth (Jay), Adam (Natalie), Shaun and Julia; four precious great grandchildren, Jack, Noah, Abigail and Elyse; one remaining sibling, Herbert Wilton (Mary); brothers and sisters-in-law: Pat Cosman, Audrey Johnson (Johnny), Mary Leslie (Calvin), Kevin Hollahan (Anne), Tom Hollahan (Linda), Edward Hollahan; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mom was predeceased by her husband of 65 years William Hollahan in 2013; her parents Wallace and Susannah Wilton; parents-in-law Samuel Sr. and Norah Hollahan; brothers and sisters: Olive Galliott (Tom), Catherine Williams (Bill), Murdock Wilton (Sarah) and Raymond Wilton (Sylvia); Hollahan brothers and sisters-in-law: Cecilia Dugas, Marjorie Prosper, Sarah Wilton/Compagnon, Jack Hollahan and Samuel Hollahan Jr. Leaving as well are her loving caregivers and fellow residents at Bungalow #4 at the Protective Community Residences. Visitation will take place at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 5th at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Church, Park Street with Reverend Clayton Parsons officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
